IS300 airbag light on
I have 2002 IS300 with airbag light on, can someone tell me how to check codes and reset it or do I have to have a scanner to do this?? I was wondering if it can be done with a wire and counting flashes??

I would take it to a trusted mechanic to run codes. Could just be the seat belt pretensioner which is cheap. resetting the code is like kicking the can down the road and it will come back eventually. Hope this helps. David Bowie

I doubt the problem still exists after three years. Check the date of the post before responding.
