Camming my Tempest

I plan on camming my Tempest. I have a 260/266 .783/.788 103 LSA cam going in...will it fit?

Re: Camming my Tempest

What engine is it, and what are your goals? That looks like one of the old SuperStock grinds, from before "porting" heads was "legal" in SS.

Are you kidding that grind is an all out racing cam, that would need a loose convertor, lots of compression, a super set of heads, big gears, and plenty of work done to valve train to operate with that valve lift. How can you ask this question with absolutely no backround on even the basic engine info and car set up???

Re: Camming my Tempest

Sorry, I'm lying, I don't even know what a Tempest is. I've never heard of a cam that big for any car...once again, sorry.

Re: Camming my Tempest

6 is the President on some other forum. He just declared himself so.
Look out, or he might do it here too.
