painting a sub
I have a XPlod sub woofer, red. Heres a picture of it.
http://www.sonystyle.com/intershopro..._box_image.jpg The interior of my car is grey with some areas of blue that i've painted. So now i want my sub to match everything else. My question is, is it possible to paint the subwoofer blue to cover up that red? I dont want it to mess with the sound quality or anything though. |

Re: painting a sub
Just get a subwoofer grill from any audio store. Find a design you like online. Cut the grill into that design and paint it blue. Never paint a sub. 1st off, the paint will chip and fall off due to the vibration. 2nd, you run the chance of ruining your cone....not good.
