Thumbs up PSA first group in Europe !

In 2002, PSA Peugeot Citroën is in front of VAG (Volkswagen, Skoda, Lamborghini, Audi, Seat, Bentley, Bugatti) in Europe.

Quite an impressive feat considering the huge numbers of brands the VAG has vs the PSA's 2 brands

Indeed !
But we must conceed that Bugatti, Lamborghini and Bentley don't sell much Neither Skoda nor Seat have a huge sharemarket.

But for Fiat, it's horrible, not more than 7,5 % in 2002 ! Hope that the Gingo and the Idea will restart Fiat. Same thing for the Y of Lancia. What do you think about it as you're working there ?

The new Y HAS to be better than the previous one to succeed- the Stilo has been helping pick sales up a it- but more is needed- tghe Panda must go, the Seicento needs to be much better than it is, the Punto is doing allrgiht and the Marea needs a full replacement

While SEAT and Skoda don't have a huge market share when compared to VW and Fiat, they're each considerably larger than Lancia or even Alfa Romeo. In Europe last year, VW sold 389,255 SEATs and 246,378 Skodas (according to JATO Dynamics) while Alfa Rome sold 170,785 and Lancia sold 108,529.

Also, Bugattis "don't sell much" is an overstatement since there hasn't been a new Bugatti built for public sale in years.
