g'day guys i live in oz and need info on vq45 to fit into my 240 to race
i have been told the infiniti /irl cars run these engines so gobits should be available help me out here |

Sure thing.
No such thing as a VQ45DE. There are VK45DE (and DD) and VH45DE. The Indy engine is quite special. Might check with TWR.
