Unhappy Blurry Window Tint

Help! I just bought a 2001 chrysler Sebring and the back window tint is really blurry. I tried cleaning the window inside and out with windex but it's still blurry. Does anyone happen to know what could be causing this. It's a defrosting window and there is no bubbling of the tint. any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Blurry Window Tint

it sounds like the tint was not a professional job adn cheaper quality film was used, but you can try to soak your windows in a window cleaner and then clean the window, let the cleaner sit on the window for about 30 seconds and whipe it off. window cleaner has alcohol in it and if the windows are blurry from cigs the alcohol will break through the tar and nicotine.

i think that probablly the problem would be the cleaner that your using if it has amonia in it like windex this will cause the tint to turn cloudy almost like a film on it but you cant get it off.if this is the problem you should remove it an put on a new layer of tint.take a look at the parts store in the cleaning supplies an they will have window cleaner just for tinted windows that will not cloud up the tint it has no amonia
