I'd love to see the Ford Shelby GR-1 race in GT sports car racing around the world like the Shelby Daytona Coupes.

Re: The next performance car after the GT?
Man, I would love to watch that DVD, I wonder if it's in Blockbuster, lol. I don't have $40 to dish out, dammit.
Anyway, I think if Ford would release the Shelby GR-1 and the Ford GT to race against the world in these races, yah, everyone would be screwed, once again...

Do you like the 2004 Shelby GR-1 or the new one with the aluminum body?

GR-1 on tv
I saw a commercial on tv for Esurance that showed a car that looked just like the GR-1.

Re: The next performance car after the GT?
I've heard it's been pushed back, until they develop the engine. Though they haven't cancelled it. Also they recently gave the go ahead to the next Lightning.

A V-10 might be more exciting than a V-8, but it isn't as balanced.

Re: The next performance car after the GT?
There will be no replacement for the GT. The GT500 will be the new top of the line Ford "performance" product.
