Has anyone tried to hook up a subwoofer to the factory sound system?

try a bazooka sub woofer enclosure some are self powered and hook up to your stock system. they cost a penny though.

Good idea. I had one and it was terrable, that was 4 years ago, maybe they have changed since then.
