Re: ABS & Traction Control Sensor
Are you sure that scanner has the ability to read ABS codes? It may only read ECM or "P" codes. ABS codes are "C" codes. You probably have a issue with one of the speed sensors harnesses, but without a code, it's a complete, but educated, guess.

Re: ABS & Traction Control Sensor
Yes scanner does not read the codes !! Interestingly I noticed my right front tire was under inflated Corrected it and problem seems to have gone but that may just be a coincidence ?? - I tried to duplicate the problem by hard braking and turning the wheel - No lights !! Any thoughts?

Re: ABS & Traction Control Sensor
Yes, an underinflated tire can cause this......also if you damage a tire, and replace it with a different brand, or a new tire and the other three are worn, the circumference difference can be enough to alter the rotational speed of the tire in comparison to the other three....

Re: ABS & Traction Control Sensor
On a side note the speed sensor harness has been a problem for me a couple of times. The design is pretty bad. When you turn your tires the wire that it is connected to also bends with a turned tire. After time you will get a short on that wire harness.

Excellent point, Rasp. I'll second that. It happens on several body platforms as well - H-bodies, N-boies, W-bodies, and the minivans.
