Wheel bearing help needed

I have a 99 accord coupe. The right front wheel bearing seems to need replacing. I hear a faint noise coming from the front. I thought it was a tire, but after getting that checked out, it turned out to be the bearing.

Question: Does the wheel bearing consist of two parts on the accord? (an innner and outer?) I remember replacing these on my previous car and it was a pain. Thank god i'm under warranty. Honda is charging $190 to replace a $7 part.

One more thing. What could cause a wheel bearing to go out at only 25k miles?

Honda should not be charging you anything to replace a wheel bearing after that short a time. Its clearly a manufactoring fault of the worst kind.

For a wheel bearing to fail after only 25k it would have to either have been faulty, poorly greassed, or wound up to tight. And unless you've been playing with them since you bought the car this could only have been done during the cars manufactor.

Having wheels that are to large, or with the wrong offset, or haveing wild amounts of camber, or running supersoft racing rubber on very wide wheels can also affect wheel bearing life, but it really does have to be taken to the extreme.

They're replacing the wheel bearing Monday. They claim it takes about 4 hours to do. I think they're full of $hit. I replaced bearings before on my old car and it took me 2 hours without their state of the art tools.

My question is if there are 2 sets of bearings for each wheel in my accord. There were 2 in my old car, just curious if this applies to my accord.
