Quick question re: seat interchange
I have a 1998 Protege DX with the crappy leather seats. I was at the boneyard earlier today stripping a few trim parts off a 1996 ES. It had the fabric seats in great condition.
That car is an automatic, mine is manual. Don't know if that factors in to the front seat widths in any way. And the rear seat in that one is a split fold-down, mine is not, far as I'm aware. I just got this DX and so I don't have a keen enough detail pic in my head for what mine looks like exactly, much less to compare it to another without a side-by-side. Just wondering if anyone knows if this would be a direct swap, or if there's some landmines that might be encountered.
