Green head unit for a 96 Riv

I am currently upgrading the sound system in my riv, and I am looking to stay with the green theme of the gauges when I buy my new head unit. It needs to have a direct line to and mp3 player (not an iPod) and of course, all green illumination.

Red is a possible option, as I have the Ruby Red leather interior, although I'd like everything on the dash to match.

So, I am looking for what you guys would use in this case. The speakers I am putting in are Infinity's (of course) and I will eventually be putting in dual 10" 600W (give or take) subs.

Also, when I go to install it, where can I get something to fill in the area left by the stock dual deck when it is removed?

old alpines are green. You get a mounting kit, it will fill in the entire hole.

Will an old Alpine have a the jack for hooking directly to a non-ipod mp3 player though?

Its probable as long as it isn't a base model receiver. Definitely something to think about when considering older receivers as an Aux input wasn't as popular a feature a while back so only the more expensive well equipped decks of back then will have that feature. Right now, i'd say 95% of today's available decks will have them. Its included in all but the most bare bones basic models.

Does anyone know how much a kit that enable me to keep the controls on the steering wheel functional would cost me?

the headunit has to be designed for that, they are like $50-75 I think.
