Starter Package
My Dad wants to know what you all would do to this car for upgrades if you had it. Both engine and cosmetic upgrades, no preference. So, here is my Dad's car:

well, lets assume price is not that much of a factor here. Starting with cosmetics I would do the following: First I would tint the windows, a white car with dark tinted windows looks very nice. Next I would move to the suspension. I would go with a GroundControl coilovers, and KYB/AGX shocks. I would get bigger front and rear sway bars, along with a strut bar. As for the lighting goes, I would either get the Jspec front end. If that is out of th question, I wold at least get clear bumper lights, thats it. Next I would look into getting a very mild body kit, such as a front lip, and side skirts, with a rear lip also. I would keep the trunk as is, without any spoiler. Next for the interior, I would either try to get the Black leather GSR? seats, or get Racaros for the front. Myself, I love the way white gauges look, so I would go with those. For the sound, I would go with THIS Head unit, and the speakers would be done accordingly. Now for more performance wise now. I would not do a GSR swap myself, but rather get some internal work done. I would get the motor strengthened for a Jackson Racing Supercharger. I would not get it boosting to high, but enough to give it te punch needed. For the exhaust, I would go with a Sheep Dog catback exhaust, with good quality header. throw on a short shifter, and you should be all set. That is pretty much the basics on what I would do.

but seriously... you should think about adding an Si head because from what i've heard it has better flow characteristics than the stock integra LS head, plus it has VTEC cam lobes which means new wiring and ECU however... just get a GSR engine with the Greddy turbo kit and a large intercooler and run low 13s, high 12s if it's gutted |

ok should have said is was a 1998 GS. also, he is looking for something that is not so expensive, some stuff you say is good, but getting a GSR engine and adding a super or turbocharger to it is too much. simpler things like the exhaust and tinted windows stuff like that. I will show him this post when I get a few more replies.
My Dad thanx you

if you're going more for looks i suggest this
1) muffler or axle back exhaust (no tips!) 2) tint (mirror with normal black behind it) 3) rims (16"-17" make sure the spokes or whatever is in the center goes all the way to the outer lip to give it a larger look) 4) coilovers or springs (DO NOT CUT STOCK SPRINGS) 5) intake (gotta love sound at full throttle) 6) headers (more sound and power) 7) maybe an OEM GSR spoiler with LED brake light (they just look nice) i think that is a good basic buildup... not necisarily (sp?) in that order, but those will definately make it look, sound, and perform better than stock |

It looks fine just as it is. I would get a nitrous kit (Zex or NOS dry kit) and keep that delightful sleeper look! Just my take on it...
