In-Dash DVD player<only plays in park?>
I just bought an in dash dvd player and I was told that in order to have it play while driving you have to ground the PARK wire. I don't see a PARK wire on the wiring harness and its not on the diagram. Which wire is it?

Re: In-Dash DVD player<only plays in park?>
Is it the kind with the screen attached or just the player that connects to seperate screens? I helped a friend install one in his car and it had the built in screen and didn't have to do anything special to get it to play movies while driving.

Re: In-Dash DVD player<only plays in park?>
The screen is attached to the unit (double din) not a flip out screen. I decided to take it to an audio store and have it hooked up. I pulled the stock wiring harness out and none of the wires match up. There's not even a RED power wire. I had my subs hooked up to the stock unit and they had an RCA adapter hooked up and wires going everywhere.

ya i had a ps2 plugged in it for a while then had to sell the ps2 ...
the dvd player is a audiobahn and the moniter is a innovatek... only cost me $175 shipped off ebay because i bought them seperate... amazing deal considering alot of people have them for like 1000 dollars... which is way too much ... i love it worst part was paying 100 for the installation :funny: - well worth it |
