Re: Is this a good deal?
On reseller ratings, they have a 4/10 rating. 5 people have left reviews, 3 were very dissatisfied and 2 were very satisfied.
I wouldn't buy anything from them, spend the few extra bucks and buy something reputable. |

People like the Rockfords because theyre cheater amps. If it says 1600, its probably more like 1800.

cheater amps were the low ohm amps ...... like the orion amp rated at 25 watts/ch @ 4 ohms, but would push 200 watts/ch @ .5 ohms. It's why IASCA used to have 1-50 watt and 51-100 watt categories.

there's too many vague specs too trust
1. 1600w is that constant or max 2. how many channels driven 3. how many volts were used to get that much power and how much THD 4. that rating for THD (0.03%) produced how many constant watts at that level for each channel (all channels driven) Never trust a manufacture that randomly throw out half of a spec. A full spec woul read like this for example... 1600Watts Max. Power rating was tested at 15.2VDC 15% THD. This basically translates to 150watts per channel at 15% THD or 50 clean watts.
