small car, FWD to RWD?

i am wanting to do a project car, im thinking of a late 80's nissan micra and doing a rwd swap into it. my main question is it really possible? is there enough room in the engine bay to have a front to back mounted engine and transmission and all the other things needed (i know ill have to redo the rear floor and frame) but whatelse?

Depends on what motor you want to shoehorn into it depends on how much room you'll have. You will have to make a drive shaft/tranny tunnel and make mounting places for a rear end. You'll have to add a frame and such. Good luck

Yea, its completely possible. Its going to be expensive, and require a ton of work but its possible. You will need to build a frame for it, probably custom driveshaft, so on and so forth.
