Well. i'd have to go with the JL over the audiobahn.. I think as far as sound goes they are both kick azz subs, however it seems like it takes a lot less power to make any JLs thump harder. JLs seem more sensative to power which to me makes them a better deal (less money on amp etc..)... Either way they are both very good subs!

put it like this. i want my system to make the ground shake and set off car alarms with it. out of those two which one would be possible to do this and how many subs will i need and how many watts to go to it. i was thinking two or three 12w6's with a 1500 watt power acoustik amp and have the speakers wired just as they show in the jl audio site to make it run at 1.5 ohm load if i was running two and at 1 ohm if i was running three. by the way the amp model that i'm going with might either be the gothic, e-pulse or a quicksilver model.

anyways if i find a amp that will run at 1ohm and put out 1200watts will i get what i'm looking for. remember i want the system to make the ground shake and set off car alarms while still be loud and clear sounding. well you know what i mean. will i need two or three and how should i wire them. also which will work better in giving it all around good sound quality a ported or sealed box. also i've been hearing about these idmax subs. where can i find these and how much are they. also anyone have any opinions on these
