Re: loudest car
That's the highest sound pressure that our atmosphere will support. If you went to another planet with a denser atmosphere or you were in a hyperbolic chamber then you could go higher, but here on Earth that's the loudest possible.

well audiobahn in my opinion is crap, but some people on here think that it is a good starter brand, which i disagree on. they are made for one reason to get loud, they subs are made for only spl, their sq line is laughable, and their amps are big peices of crap.....conclusion much better for the money......
p.s. audiobahn spends a hell of alot on advertising so thats why you always see them in car audio mags, and lowrider mags, etc.... just becuase they have more ads doesn't make them good

Re: loudest car
Here's what i got i have all infinity kappa mid including 8" all range kappas in the kicker panels. For my subs I have 2 audiobahn immortals in custom 38hz box tunned for sound quality yet spl. The amps are JBL crown class d's. I eventually will change all subs to JBL gti subs. At this point right now i am in the 157.3db range but still clean.

Re: loudest car
Dude this thread is 3 years old, please dont bring up old threads. Better yet how in the hell do you guy find threads this old.
By the way imortal vs and MT mt would crush it. And i dont think you should consider company car winners maybe in there own class but put these guys that dont get funding up againt each other and it mor intersting. Its easy to make numbers when you get everything for free.

Just because a car is made in a certain country doesn't mean that it is anything like another car from that country. An example of this is Mitsubishi reliability, just because they are Japanese doesn't mean that they are as reliable as a Honda or Toyota. Cardomain |

Re: loudest car
I HAD a 15" Alpine Type-R running about 550w with my Alpine V-12 Class d amp, but some freaking reject stole my sub . The fiberglass box I made for it speaks for itself.
