Id take the audiobahn!

I know were talking about a alum12x but i use to have the aw1200x, and it was loud as hell in a sealed box, just imagine what it would do in a ported box! I think the alums are even better then the aw1200x subs because not only do they have great sq they also have spl as well!

If you really want to bump hard with one sub look into digital designs, there subs are absolutly amazing, not only are they one of the best subs, you can send your sub back to digital designs whenever you want and they will replace pretty much everything on the sub for 100 bucks, now what company does that????

15s would give you real low bass, good for db competitions. The 12s would give you the better sounding bass which sounds like what you're looking for. The 12s would hit hard, but the 15s would shake your town with a little less sound quality. So I would go with the 12s if I were you.

it wouldn't be about hearing it.. efficiency describes the amount of current draw the amp makes and how much of it is used to power the sub.. most amps give off heat and that is wasted energy. hearing a loud amp would not really tell you how efficient it is..check the voltage drops on a hard bass note can tell you.. and i still cannot believe that.
