Engine identification
Need some help, I am trying to find out where the engine ID number is stamped on a Oldsmobile V8. The engine is in a boat with a Berkeley jetdrive. I am guessing that the engine would be 70's vintage. Need the info to order some parts.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks ahead of time! |

in front of intake manifold on block is where its at
big olds engines have letters in the lower left of the cylinder head like a J. small ones have a number then maybe a letter like 5 or 5A |
