VX executive speed warning
Does anyone body know if in the VX executive that if you set the speed warning to 220km ( speedo limit) that the car will actually drive better. I heard with more power or something..Or is that false and all it will do is beep at you if you ever get to 220km

Mate, that is utter bullshit. Whoever told you that is trying to play you.
Firstly the VX Executive's speed warning only goes to 200km and there is no more left so it is therefore impossible to set it all the way to 220km/h. If you don't want the speed warning to chime when you go over 200km/h, go into dianostic mode for the digital speedo and tacho. |

What?
Ha ha ha ha... That's hilarious...
It reminds me of the Japanese imports that used to have a compulsory overspeed chime when you went over 110 km/h (it was a law in Japan to remind you that you speeding!) - it used to chime more rapidly the faster you went. The story went that if you got to 220km/h the chime would stop... so being young and stupid we thrashed some shopping trolley owned by the old lady of a mate at 220km/h in the dead of night. I can safely say that once we ran that thing down a hill with a tail wind on a long piece of freeway without an air-cleaner or a spare tyre, tools, pratically no gas in the tank, windows wound up, ventilation off... after an eternity with the little wheezy OHC turbo we finally got to 220 indicated and discovered... that it was complete and utter bullshit... the @#$%ing still happily chimed away... |
