wipers won't turn off 93 Trans Sport

new problem... I think.

My wipers keep running for about 5 sec. after I turn them off. kinda like when you push the button for washer fliud and they swipe for about 5 sec. but I'm not pushing the washer button. is this normal? I have read through the threads on wipers but can't find any with this problem. When they do stop they park right.

Get new wiper motor, or one from the junk yard they are too easy to change.

OK so you probably know about the PCboard problem. Indeed what you experience is unheard of as such....but there have been other problems related to parking or stopping anywhere and I this can involve the "return to park" track and contact inside the motor unit. ...In any case I suggest you check first for the connector pin soldering problem then report what happens next....if the track and springed contacts are worn off, then indeed replacing the whole motor unit with salvage can be the right way...
