Giving gas from a gas can on a car
My car is at my house and the gas gauge is at E, and the gas station is far away, so I need to go get a gas can and put gasoline in it then give it to my car, will the gasoline lose grade and quality during the transfer and would it damage my car?

Re: Giving gas from a gas can on a car
It will be fine. Around here we get discounts from Get Go gas station up to 30 gallons at a time. Since my dad's car only holds 19 gallons, he puts the rest in 5 gallon gas containers for later use in his or mine or my sister's car.
In over a year never had a problem with the gas. But since I play it on the cautious side, I add in STP Gas Treatment additive with every fill up to remove any water and keep the system clean. |

Absolutely nothing will degrade doing that. That fuel has been transferred about 20 times before; tankers, trucks, storage tanks, pipelines, underground tanks at the gas station...
Don't worry about it.
