And yet the XLR is a bit of a slouch losing out to Jaguar XK8's and Mercedes-Benzes in straight line dogfights. Bummer that the supercharged Northstar can't keep pace with its "antiquated" stablemates.

Oops, my mistake. It was the Evoq concept that was supercharged, not the production XLR.

Aren't they coming out with an XLR-V soon? that cts super-v look absolutely amazing...but what engine is under the hood? is it in upgraded vett 5.7l? or is it a truck engine? or a newly designed engine? any guess/info?
