By that you indicate that you have never been there. I have been there for the last three years and there is a big crowd in the infield where you can get close the cars - and with a pit pass you can get close to the drivers. It is not really that interesting to watch this race from the grandstands and this year with rain and a very cold and windy sunday it was even more uninteresting. Yes the DP cars are ugly - but if you are looking for a great race look no further than Grand-Am. Like the finish at Daytona last year with four cars battling for victory for several hours before the flag.

Have we forgotten that this series is owned by Napcar. I think the model manufactures have stopped making models from this series because they demanded so much for the licencing fees. So I do not see anyone really wanting to make the effort to work with them on this deal.

That plus the smaller fan base than ALMS, and the ugly cars. None of it helps. Good race to watch on TV while building models
