attaching a PA system

I was looking for a PA system to hook into my CB radio. I noticed that the CB radio has an input for a PA system, so it looks as though I could get some kind of PA device that plugs in so that I can use the mic on my CB to speak through a speaker. I've been doing some research, but the only things I've been able to find are completely separate from the CB. They include a speaker and their own mic. Anyone ever attached a PA system to their cb?

Re: attaching a PA system

I have and I love it! It's so fun shouting at people on the street, yeah I know it's kind of immature but a lot of them think it's funny.

All you need to do is buy a PA speaker/bullhorn, mount it under your hood (or wherever you choose), plug the jack into the PA insert, and voila! It's very simple, and you can find lots of PA speakers/bullhorns on eBay. Sometimes they're sold under boat/marine parts as well.
