Re: Revell AG voting for new kits

grande George, great ideas, as usual.

I suspect btw revell will go for something more local...as probably Opel rekord/monza/kadett/astra 1991/ corsa all version.Maybe we are lucky and they will also make a brand new mould full detailed of the daf..and why not a reissue of MAN truck from 1972...

Re: Revell AG voting for new kits

Is there an approval process when you suggest an idea?

I sent in the Maserati MC12 as an idea for 1/24 cars and I haven't seen it on the site yet. Who wouldn't want to build this?

Mondo makes a pretty nice 1/24th diecast of the MC12 and Welly's makes a really nice 1/24th Alfa Romeo 8C. They are metal, but I just unscrew them and repaint/detail. The Welly's 8C even has the correct texture on the seats. I know Fujimi would miss that and maybe Revell might too.

By the way, Welly's is making a 1/24th Alfa 4C also. Welly's is every bit as good as the plastic companies for details, but you do have to repaint/detail.

Re: Revell AG voting for new kits

I don't believe that nobody wants a Porsche 911.
Revell is german so I also don't understand why there isnt a 911.
I also don't believe that everyone want a army vehicle.
There are too many tanks, planes and other stuff what they use in the army.

Revell Of Germany is now 100% owned by Revell USA, and I believe are now working as one, but I could be wrong

Just visit a scale model fair or exposition and you'll see that there are 5 times more military subject vs civil ones.

I have added a Porsche 911, the 1998 GT1 Le Mans winner, make sure you vote for it!

Once I saw the chopper from Magnum PI it felt like I reached the end of the internet, so I stopped.
