Ok, let me repeat myself, since you seemed to have missed it. Car and Driver magazine reviewed the Ford GT and they measured the 0-60mph time to be 3.3 seconds.

"It wasn't even a contest. The Ford GT so completely dusted off its two highly recognized competitors that if we had wanted to make this a real challenge, we would have had to go way up the "supercar" price ladder. The $401,000 Saleen S7 is about as quick as the Ford GT, and we know of only one car that would surely outrun the Ford—the $659,000 Ferrari Enzo.

Rocketing the GT to 60 mph in 3.3 seconds and to 150 in 16.9 (that's an incredible seven seconds quicker than the Porsche and the Ferrari) was a cinch."

Acceleration isnt the point!!! The article says ford hasnt even finished the topspeed testing yet. Thats really reassuring to gt owners who have 1 in their garage now. The s7 and the ferrari enzo are 3 times as good of track cars. Im sure that the noble m12 gto 3 could run the same times around the track or faster.

Well for starters they killed the xj class. Cosidering that all xjrs are built on a ford contour chassis. They dont have jagar in any racing programs except f1 which they plan to pull out next year! Thats only some of the facts.

"In fact, it seems they over-achieved. A couple of days earlier, this very Ford GT cracked 190mph at Nardo. And it didn't stop until it hit... 212mph. Not just once, but on three occasions, driven by three separate drivers."

Thats their pride and joy what do you expect they probly took money out of volvo and jag's budget to fund the stupid thing.

Um, I was responding to someone who said the Ford GT accelerates 0-60 in 3.7 or more seconds. What did you want me to do? Respond with something completely off-topic???

Also, before Ford acquired Jaguar, they suffered a whole great deal of mechanical problems. Also before ford acquired Volvo their cars were simply ugly as sin...

Acceleration isnt though im taking about an over great track car. Apparently there not that ugly considering volvo designed these.
Ford did not help in the production of volvo design and concept till 05+.How do I know this Because I own a Volvo 03 crosscountry which the the dealer who a volvo enthusiast and owns an s60 R told me so.
