Re: Yamaha M1 2008 top studio

May I ask how much you added *in addition to* the Top Studio kit (I understand that rivets, bolts and CF decals are added, I'm more asking about detail parts and NOT scratchbuilt stuff...)? Your work has made me consider the '08 bike. The level of detail you've done is very, very good. I've build 2 of the TS MotoGP kits and one F1 TS kit and love Johnson's work. If what you've done is only the Top Studio kit, the kit is definitely worth the price.

Please let me know. Thanks!

Re: Yamaha M1 2008 top studio

I read your posts here and saw you made a lot of the things you added...I was wanting to know how much more detail you added in addition to the TS kit. Looks like you added quite a bit to the kit and the TS kit. I really like your build and looks like you put in about as much work as I would. Makes me REALLY consider buying this kit.

Yes I manufactured some parts, the shock absorber postpones, the supports of careenage, the fixing of the water bottle, I adapted the engine and the radiator of the 2009 which is more with resembling the 2008, but you can see other photographs

Your link to the French board was just awesome. I'm really heading toward buying that kit...

Do you have reference pictures for the '08 bike by any chance? I don't have any and would definitely need some for this build, if I do it. Of course there aren't many on the web and no Pitwalk guide.

As I've said, great build!

May I ask which fork set you used? '05 or '09? Or, did you make your own??

Re: Yamaha M1 2008 top studio

Thanks so much! That is *exactly* the way I am going to display my bike (both wheels off, bike on stands). I thought that would be fitting for this level of detail...

Thanks for the help!
