I can brag...can I?--365GT/4 BB engine book and more
Arrived in two large boxes and one special mailing bag are 25 model kits (Fujimi's L24 engine kit and Scale Production's OZ wheel set aren't pictured) and more than 50 books/magazines (a couple of computer mags and my wife's manga aren't pictured).
Two model kit containers weighed 9.3 and 8.7 kg, and cost 6750 and 6200 yen respectively. The total shipping cost was 12950 yen or $111.64 = $4.85 per kit (exclusing engine and wheel sets). The books weighed 23 kg, and cost 10750 yen (=$93). Japanese English bilingual book called The Engine: Ferrari 365GT/4 BB is simply stunning. It's a 128-page full-color photo book of a disassembled F102 engine, the book is the most comprehensive reference (besides the factory manual, of course) on the boxer engine I've ever seen. A few errors in the first print are said to be corrected in the second print. (ISBN: 4-544-40002-3, 3300 yen + tax, available at www.amazon.co.jp) To make the thread relevant to the forum, if you're thinking about buying any of those kits (or magazines), and want to know more about them, let me know. Now, the question is where should I store all those kits... |

Geez Louise! Nice haul. I have to admit, though, after all those Ferraris, Skylines, and whatnot, it's a bit odd to see a.... Honda Accord Wagon? What're your plans for that plain Jane ride?

that boxer engine book is making me very jealous.
