Cool

Just wondering what everyone out there would like to see in the next generation (A5) body style? More perfomance or more luxury...or both?

I'd like to see a few things change.

1.Lower steering ratio
2. Aggressive sport suspension (larger sway bars, springs, shocks.
3.More gauges (oil pressure, boost gauge, voltmeter)
4.More power for the 1.8T, Vr6, 2.0 and the vr5 while their at it
5.Needs to be lighter.
6.Throw in a VAG scan tool and a Bentley manual with every order

Well, I'd like to have exactly what I KNOW they won't have. I would like the GTI to have its old image back, and leave the luxury to the sedan models.. less options, and serious diet (300 pounds minimum!). We don't need all the little options the new GTIs are coming with, it only adds weight and takes away from the sporty feel of the car. Give me a mkV GTI with stiffer suspension and more body-hugging bucket seats, at 2700lbs or less, and I will consider! But because VW is trying to go more upscale with their product line and company image, I think my next car may not be VW, unless I buy an older car. (Subie WRX for me!)

Remake the Corrado!!! And bump the power output of their current engine lineup..As well as add the VR5 and the 24V VR6 with 4 motion..Take the GTi back to the old school, with power/handling/sportiness in one package,Don't need leather or automatic windsheild wipers in a GTi!!!Save that for the Passat crowd..Bring us a true "drivers car"..

That's what I want too, a new C.. mmm...

I guess it's possible with this new market opening up (with the WRX, RS-X, etc) - but all they really need to do is bring the S3 into America!! Then I'll shut up!!

What i want to see is VolksWagen to start a perfomance division with in the company, ya know like BMW does with their M-division so i can get my DUBB right from the factory with all the hook up already on it, like coil-over, better seats, rim's all that. Now if that where to happen i would never even think about buying another car.......well except a 911 turbo.

I would also like much more power from all engines. Everything else is already top notch.
I agree the GTi should get back to basics, but it wont happen. They are getting more performance oriented, though (300 hp, W8 Jetta, for example).

Ferdinand Piech is a smart one, and wont let us down (I should know, he is on eof my idols, so he better do it!)
