97 Villager brakes overheating

I replaced the passenger side CV axle and now the front breaks are overheating and I can no longer hear when the ABS resets (it was a humming sound). Is there something I need to do to reset the ABS or what can be the cause of this?

I don't know if your abs could be causing the problem but I would start with looking at the wheel to see if everything is installed correctly. Jack up the front end and see if the wheel spins freely and compare it to the other side. Check that the caliper moves freely on the pins.
