93 Villager - Loose Parking Brake
I drove my gf's 93 Villager to work last night so I could gas it up when I got out and noticed the emergency/parking brake light blinking off and on randomly then stay off for a bit then blinking again. I get to work and park and decided to push in on the parking brake pedal and then release it.
As I push in on the pedal I noticed really quick I had no resistance at all. It easily went all the way down but as I lifted my foot it came back up with it! So its extremely loose and the release handle of course does nothing. As I pull it, it feels as if not even connected to anything. She's had this van for 2 years now and don't know why I am now just figuring this problem out ha ha (shows how much I ever use the e brake). Has anyone else had this problem? What are my options here (I am a DIY weekend warrior)? Also just to add, I don't have a repair manual on this van yet but was wondering if someone could tell me the location of the fuel regulator. Anyways thank you all for your help and yes this is my first post here I'm usually over on different forums for S10s ha ha! |

The fuel regulator is on the fuel rail , look by the radiator side valve cover and you should find it. |
