Oiling circuit flow path in 5.0 cars?

Does the oil go through the remote filter and then to the cooler and back to the engine? Or, is it the reverse with it going to the cooler first and then the filter and back?

Trying to determine if I need to replace the oil cooler for my engine swap. The car was shut down instantly and if the oil hits the filter first then that should catch any debris I would think.

Thanks,

Brian

Filter first then through cooler and back to engine Brian. Per page 38 of the GTS manual.

Thank you. I left the manual/binder for the car in my father's garage. Need to get that back in my hands.
