Arrow 1994 Olds 88 4T60E Trans Problems

Hello this is my first post so ill do my best, i have a 1994 Olds 88 that has 265k miles on it, i deliver rural mail routes and all of a sudden the trans just went out after starting to slip, being a certified mechanic i swaped the trans with on out of a 1993 Olds 88 with 55k, when i tried to test drive the vehicle the the trans is going into "limp" mode and wont come out of second gear, after looking closer the trans that i put in has a 6 wire plug connector and the one that was in it has 7 plugs, the wiring pattern is also different, is there anyway around this WITHOUT changing the trans again, i have beentold that there is an inexpensive connector that i can join the two with so that it will clear the codes, or is there a way to trick or retard the computer to beleive everyhting is working correctly. If anyone can help m eout i would really appreciate it thanks

Welcome to AF, don't know about an adapter but that trans's electronics are not compatible with your pcm, you should have used a 94 trans.
