'92 Olds 88 steering wheel removal

Hey All,

I'm trying to fix/replace a couple of radio/fan control buttons on the steering wheel of my 1992 Olds 88. I was going to try and pick some up at a junkyard, but I wanted to figure out how to get to them first. I started to remove the 4 screws in the back cover of the steering wheel, but I got scared that I might trigger the airbag or something. Can somebody please tell me the proper way to get to these controls???

Thanks for all!

Buy a chilton or hayes manual for your car at any auto parts store and disarm the air bags the propper way.
