yeah they're Seriously hurting for business... all of the american mfg's are... up here they're closing down 2 or 3 GM plants and cutting 3900 jobs because they're falling into debt faster and faster... there's even talks of them claiming bankrupcy... how crazy would that be

Same thing here. That damn "Employee Pricing" thing pissed me off cuz they sold 2907472634098298375029349762035981987354235 cars and trucks and the Import guys weren't doing it. Come to find out, the domestic guys weren't making much money on those cars they were selling like that.

The domestic guys are hurting BAD. There are plants closing and jobs being cut here, too. LOTS of them.

What I don't get is, if they're losing money by selling cars so cheap, why the FUCK are they DOING IT?! They're losing money, so obviously it sucks for them and the cars that people buy retain NO value AT ALL, so it's bad for the consumer, too. Who's benefiting, here?

I get a big kick out of dealerships. Especially when it comes to Z cars...no one seems to know SHIT about them. Even the 350Z! I test drove a brand new, black, 6 speed 350Z at a Chevy dealer (I know...???) and the dude didn't know ANYTHING ABOUT IT! It was transferred from a Nissan dealer owned by the same group. (For instance, Kerry Nissan gave it to Kerry Chevrolet to try to sell it...why, I have NO idea.) Dealer had NO clue what it was. I scared the SHIT out of him on the test drive. It was great.

Just about anywhere you go that has a Z for sale, you can safely bet that the sales people will know NOTHING about it.

That would be kickass I agree. But next to impossible down under. There just arent that many Z's around to warrent a 'Z' specialty workshop. I would love to start up a workshop down here that works on all the underrated cars. eg anything that isnt a Silvia, Skyline supra or WRX.

300zxs are sooooooo underrated here. Its fun annihilating skylines. It really is. The drivers think they are the hottest shit. But GTSTs really arent anything special. Stock for stock a 2nd gen MR2 will romp one.
