passenger wiper arm not moving

The right wiper arm is not moving when the left does. Something is slipping. I say this because the left arm moves as normal but the right only moves if I help it. If I stop helping it along, it will stop moving again once it reaches the rest position. Experience, ideas, comments?

Re: passenger wiper arm not moving

After finding the time to actually LOOK at everything, I got off easy (and cheap!). The nut holding the right side arm on the shaft had somehow come loose in a VERY short time span. Good to go now.

Re: passenger wiper arm not moving

Just check it out and if you are not able to solve this problem, get it solved by mechanic.

Re: passenger wiper arm not moving

thats the mechanical fault in your motor, and my advice is that instead of repairing it buy a new one and cost will be almost the same.

Re: passenger wiper arm not moving

He already fixed this problem 3-years ago, it was a loose nut!

If one wiper works, tells me the wiper motor is good.
