A/C Line Question - 97 Monte Carlo LS

My question is about the A/C line at the point where the Orifice Tube is replaced and connects.

At the opening, where the line connects to where the orifice tube goes, does this piece have a fitting on it that can be replaced? I have replaced the orifice tube and now can not get the A/C line connected again. Seems that the tip of the end is stripped. Can this piece be replaced without having to replace the entire A/C line?

Thanks
