Re: How to determine value of used vehicle to sell

The heading says quick reply. Where is it that I enter my question? Anyway, I'll try here. I own a 2003 Jag XJ8 that I wish to trade in. It has the usual road rash and it has some dings in the flimsy bumbers. Should I take it in and fix all those things, getting the car to show room condition (for a used car) or should I just take it in to the dealer? Thanks in advance for the help.

The better condition its in, the more you'll get. And you almost always get more cash selling it private party rather than trading in to dealer.

Re: How to determine value of used vehicle to sell

This might help you figure out the worth of a used car. It is a resource I recently started to help track ACTUAL prices people paid for their cars.
