Thought you would find this interesting.....
(April 1999, South Africa) In South Africa, car-jacking has become popular in recent years. The South African law has lenient provisions for self defense, and allows "lethal action" if someone's personal property is in danger. Citizens are inventive in creating martial security systems for their cars. Poison gas, acid showers, flamethrowers and automatic gunfire are not unknown. One such security system relied upon an airbag installed in the car roof. If a driver sat down without disabling the mechanism, the airbag would inflate and hit the victim atop his head with a force strong enough to render him unconscious. And that is exactly what happened to Pieter Niewoudt, who, armed with a pistol, attempted to steal this vehicle. When the airbag exploded, he thought that someone was shooting at him, and he instinctively fired the pistol twice. Unfortunately for him, his gun was still in his pocket at the time. One bullet hit his knee, and the other lodged in the base of his penis. The consequences of his injuries may include sterility, making him a contender for the 1999 Darwin Award. from www.darwinawards.com

After reading through this thread, I suppose no one here has the worst curse than I do. Exactly 2 months and 5 days after joining the AF, I had the following:
#666 - rolled car - complete write-off. #667 - scratched rear bumper, popped right rear side marker on replacement car. #668 - winter playing, drove car into ditch - undamaged. The curse gotta stop!!

45 got me!!!!!!!!!!!
I just had an accident today, second time the curse hit me. Now it was more serious. I broke the left front side of the car, including front bumper, left dual headlight with HID for the low beam and PIAA Xtreme on the Hight beam and it got my left sidemirrow. It was an old man in a motorcycle who just decided to made an U turn right in the moment I was passing by him. Got him on the rear tire. Yes, he is hurt. Me?, nope, just hurt in the wallet and in my heart from seem my car like that (I don't even want to take pictures of it). Well, he will be back on the street soon, I hope. This sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:finger:

46.
Dunno if breakdowns count...but I bought my Primera about 3 weeks ago, and 2 days after I got it the fuel pump burned itself out somehow and fell into the fuel tank. The terminals were still receiving power, truning my car into what the mechanic described as: "A rolling time-bomb". As it happens, it just stopped going. 47. 3 days after I got my Primera back from repair, I woke up in the morning to find my window smashed and doors open. Some A55Rammer stole my Cds. No problems since then.

Fortunately, I still have the OEM with me, so not much pain for now, besides I have good insurance. I think the car will be on the street at the end of next week.

I think im number 48! Well I got my car about a month and a half ago (brand new 3 miles on it), I found AF before I bought the car, and then I bought the car and had it for 2 weeks. When I was leaving the parking lot in my school some stupid bitch comes speeding down the school zone and crashes right into my passenger side door.. So I brought the car to the body shop and was sitting there for about a week and a half untouched, and finally they started working on it so when I get the car it still wasnt done right so i had to bring it back the same day I got it, and I just got the car back yesterday around 5pm!! Its been in the shop for over a month.. Heres a picture of it....
