93 legacy front cv shaft lost roll pin
replaced the passenger side cv shaft, roll pin shattered when removed, somehow lost the new roll pin. auto parts stores all closed until monday and i don't have a way to get to one very easy. how dangerous is it to put it back together and drive without the pin? does anyone drive without them in?

The roll pin is the only thing that keeps the axle from pulling out of the transmission. You can drive it if you want but a good bump or corner is likely to make it pop out.
