How To Fix Starter
Howdy, so I've got a very unique situation with my two trucks. I have a couple of 2nd gen dodge trucks I use to haul logs on a 45ft trailer for Texas A&M student bonfire. These trucks have been beat up over the years.
To start the trucks the ignition must be switched to the on position and jumper cables must be ran from the starter under the truck into the cab. So you have to turn the ignition, push in the clutch, and spark the cables off each other to start both trucks every single time. This is very much not ideal. I was wondering if anyone had any advice on how to fix the starter and rewire the starter to the ignition. If i cant fix it I'm gonna wire a lightswitch to it.
