97 Sunfire Won't Start
I bought a 97 Sunfire that was hit in the passenger fender. No frame damage, just wrinkled the fender. Now it won't start. It tries but as soon as it hits it gasps through the throttlebody. Then you have to disconnect the injectors and crank it until it gets unflooded. I have changed the plugs and it didn't make a difference. Car has 107,000 miles on it. I have a medium grade scanner and it can't detect anything wrong. I have good spark and gas because it keeps flooding itself. Theft system light is on but not flashing. It will go off if the car starts and stumbles for a short time at idle. It has never been above 1000 rpm since I've got it. Normally I can fix stuff like this but this has me baffled.
