Coolerman,
when using my cup holders with water bottles they sometimes get pulled out when I go for a drink. My question is will this damage the light in some way or should I put 2 way tape or glue the rubber cup holder insert in? I don't really want to do that because my LARGE no-spill wheelin' mug requires the insert to be removed.
Either way I will be getting one for the auto, but would like to have an idea ahead of time on what downsides I may encounter. Thanks in advance.

You can't damage the LED in any way by removing the rubber inserts. You actually cut a hole in the rubber insert the LED pokes through. I've had mine in and out a dozen times. The LED is hard plastic and the insert is soft rubber!
I will be building some manual kits this weekend so anyone who wants one can email me! |
