Easy install!

Well it only took me an hour fifteen by myself to slap on the bumper.
Calmini supplies you with 6 bolts to replace the three flanged part that holds the stock bumper on. Problem is that Calmini's holes are to small after the bumper is powdercoated and claear coated!!! So I reused the three flanged bolts, without problem. Everything else bolted right up using there hardware. Gordon/Warmonger got a good right up on it on his site so I won't carry on! I also had it Rhinolined ($50.00) on top of the bumper. Otherwise you have just a smooth slippery surface if it is wet out!

Here are a few pics of it though!!

Just curious, but has anybody had any problem with cops and the fact that the third brake light is covered?

Question

I ordered it from Calmini a week ago! They said it would be "two weeks."

Yeah, the third light is required on all new vehicles according to the DOT, but it is not legally required for vehicles driven ont he road to have them. Does that make sense? I added a light at the top of my window, but having one above the tire is much better. I may remove mine and just add a receiver light for when I'm on the road.

Cool

Looks good dude! That 'extra' weight will help keep the tires on the ground Since I don't post that often and don't keep up with the chatter can you tell me the total cost including shipping was? Delivery time from date of order?

Thanks...

Cool Xterraparts.com

I called them and they shipped it to me in four business days! Cost was $749.95 & $100.00 for shipping! I made sure Xterraparts had it in stock!!!

Rick and I are gonna work on that in a week. Should be interesting. Im curious to see how the bumper affects the pack. Looks badass with the Rhino lining. Seems odd they shipped it smooth as the stock bumper even has some grip on it.

Rick is helping me with my truck and then I guess we get to tweak his. Maybe you wanna come Schlud?
