how many vr4 spyders were made?

Hey guys, i just bought a 1995 VR4 Spyder Hardtop 6 speed, i was wondering how many were produced in the states? cuz ive been lookin for about a year for one of those..and i finally got one..only 20k original miles too =)

Whoa, that's awesome. How much did you pay for her? Must've been an arm and a leg... But yeah, here are the production numbers of the GTs--second post from the top. And if you can, post some pics of your ride.

EDIT: I'm an idiot. I did the search and everything and found the production numbers but didn't post the link. LOL

1500 spyders total, and that incudes 95 and 96 and SL's
something like 700 vr4 spyders total.

A few "bolt on" mods, a couple "cut, smash, hammer, weld, etc" mods, and a couple "why the hell do I need this/what the hell is this" weight reductions.
