holy crap

of all the the things that a guy could break on his car and I choose this. On my 70 nova, rear leaf spring, front spring eye perch, it bolts to the frame with use of a retaining clips that slide through the frame and retain a nut on the back side. I broke one of those little bastards. Does anybody know where I can get one of those damnn things. The parts store was no help, the hardware store was no help. The closest junkyard is 140 miles away. I dont want to weld it.

Re: holy crap

Yeah those things are a pain in the butt man. I am going to be cutting mine out here soon to replace my leaf springs and adding a pair of bolt on subframe connectors. So far I have only found one place that sells them. They are an online site (I hope that isn't a problem). They come as a kit and from what I have heard they are better than the o.e.m. ones. Link is below. I hope this helps. I will be purchasing a pair myself in a few weeks.

P.S. Sorry about the long replay. I usually try to look at the forums almost daily but I have been busy lately.
