If you saw an ugly Aston it was probably a US spec model as they had huge black bumpers instead of the clean chrome ones that they used in Europe. Also the lines on the back of the V8 were chopped to make room for the US number plates which ruined the back.

Who in gods name decided to stick thoes plastic things on in the 80's. Its pure butchery! the lines of astons should not be touched...

Ralph Nader (or something)? Wasn't he the guy who had the idea back in the 70s about the ugly black bumpers? Blame him! Anyone who says Astons are ugly should have their eyes examined immediately!
