Nice: I love Pike's Peak racers. Let us know how it all turns out. $35 Euros is pretty steep, but if it's a nice result it might be worth it.

Re: Reji Models' 405 pikes peak transkit (review)
I received my transkit today and apart from the points Olivier mentioned there are some things that occured to me when I was looking through it.
The wheels are very brittle and I managed to break the pin off one of them as I was test fitting a tyre on it and the centre started to break away from the spokes when I was taking the tyre off again. It's quite easily rectified, but worth taking into consideration. Some of the pieces have large chunks of excess resin attached to them due to the moulding process, but I guess that's what you have to expect with this media. Also, some areas of the instuctions are slightly unclear, but I think I've got it mostly worked out now. Basically, though it looks accurate, if brittle. I guess I just need to expect more preparation work when working with resin. Has anyone any ideas about what tyres are accurate for this car.
